1. Introduction

Nexus Tech (“we,” “us,” “our”) develops and publishes utility apps for Android and iOS devices. This document explains, in plain terms, what data our apps gather from you, how it’s stored and put to use, and the choices you have over it (collectively, the “Service”).

This Policy only covers data handled directly by Nexus Tech within our own apps. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, what independent third-party websites or services do with any information you choose to share with them.

By downloading, installing, or using any of our apps, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

This Policy is designed to align with Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection, and also references principles of the GDPR for users in applicable regions.

2. How We Protect Your Information

We take practical steps — both in how our systems are built and how our team operates — to guard against your data being lost, misused, or accessed without authorization. That said, no digital system can be guaranteed completely impenetrable, and we cannot promise perfect security.

3. Information We Collect

For clarity, we group data into two categories:

3.1 Personal Information

Information that identifies you or can be used to contact you, such as: your email address (if you contact support), photos you actively capture or select when using a related feature, and precise location data (only for specific apps that request this and only if you grant permission).

We do not collect Personal Information merely because you download or open the app — we only collect it when you actively provide it (e.g., emailing support) or when you grant permission for a specific feature that requires it (camera, location).

3.2 Non-Personal Information

Information that does not directly identify you, including: device identifiers, IP address, device type, operating system, app usage data (frequency of use, features used, session duration), and crash/error logs.

We collect this Non-Personal Information automatically as part of normal app use. We keep it separate from anything that identifies you personally, unless you’ve separately given us that identifying information yourself.

3.3 Device Permissions (only applicable to apps that request the relevant permission)

Some apps in our portfolio — request the following permissions strictly to support the app’s core functionality:

  • Camera / Photo Library: used to let you capture a photo, which is processed entirely on your device and displayed back to you within the app. The photo is never transmitted to or stored on our servers, and is not used for any other purpose.
  • Location (GPS): used to determine your current location, which is processed entirely on your device and displayed back to you within the app. This location data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers, and is not used for any other purpose.

We only request permissions that are genuinely necessary for each app’s core feature set, and you may always decline or revoke access at any time through your device’s operating system settings.

4. Purposes of Use

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Operating and improving the app (bug fixes, performance optimization)
  • Providing the feature you requested (e.g., processing a photo if you granted camera access)
  • Responding to your inquiries and providing technical support
  • Displaying advertisements (through third-party advertising partners, see Section 6)
  • Aggregated, anonymized analysis to understand how users use the app

We do not use your information for purposes beyond those listed above without notifying you.

5. Use of Cookies (applies to the nexus-dn.vn website)

Our website may use cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website functionality may not work properly if cookies are disabled. This Policy does not cover cookies placed by third-party advertisers — please refer to their respective privacy policies.

6. Advertising and Third Parties

To keep our apps free, we display ads through third-party advertising partners, including but not limited to:

  • Google AdMob (Google LLC)
  • Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.)

These partners may collect your device’s Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. We do not provide personally identifiable information (such as your name or email) directly to advertising partners. This Policy does not cover these advertisers’ own use of cookies or SDKs — please refer to each partner’s own privacy policy.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share or disclose data in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers (hosting, analytics, advertising) necessary to operate the app, limited to what is reasonably required
  • When required by law or applicable legal process
  • To protect and enforce our legal rights or agreements with users
  • To protect the safety and security of users or the public, where disclosure is lawful
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or business restructuring

8. International Data Transfer

Some service providers we work with (e.g., hosting providers, advertising partners) may operate servers outside Vietnam. In such cases, your data may be processed in a country with different data protection standards than Vietnam. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains appropriately protected when transferred internationally.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your applicable jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent to data processing at any time
  • Revoke device permissions (camera, location, etc.) via your operating system settings
  • Uninstall the app to stop all further data collection by that app

10. Children

Our apps are not directed at, and are not intended for, children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact nexus.tech139@gmail.com so we can promptly delete it.

11. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting nexus.tech139@gmail.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

Nexus Tech may revise this Policy from time to time as our apps or practices evolve. Whenever that happens, the updated text will replace this page and the date at the top will be refreshed accordingly. We’d encourage checking back occasionally so you’re not caught off guard by a change.

13. Acceptance of This Policy

Using our apps means you’re on board with what’s written here. If something in this Policy doesn’t sit right with you, the app isn’t the right fit — please don’t use it. Sticking around after we’ve posted an update means you’re fine with the new version.
